Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, commonly known as Amrita University. The University is deemed to be a university established in 1994 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. In the case of B.Tech, candidates are required to score at least 60% aggregate in 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) with a minimum of 55% in each subject. Admission to these programs is either through the Amrita Entrance Examination–Engineering (AEEE) or JEE Main. AEEE 2025 cutoffs differ by campus and branch: for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at Coimbatore is 85–98 percentile (home state) or 90–98.5% for other states; Mechanical Engineering at Coimbatore is 50-65 percentile. For instance, AEEE ranks 26,000 (∼31st percentile) and most likely does not attain CSE or Mech at Coimbatore, but may for lower demand Chemical at Amritapuri or Bengaluru. For an MBA, one requires a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and CAT/XAT 40/70%. BA programs demand 50% in 10+2 and CAP tests for Mass Communication.

     - Very high AEEE cutoffs for CSE Bangalore and Coimbatore top campuses.

     - Inadequate opportunities for non-engineering disciplines and unbalanced faculty effectiveness. 

     - Engineering tuition fees range from ?3 lakhs to ? 24 lakhs, placing them at the higher end of the market. Scholarships do exist, however.
