And there is no entrance exam. Students must have passed 10+2 or a 3-year diploma from a recognised board, generally with at least 45% aggregate marks.

The requirements for Manipal Online MBA are a bachelor's degree (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) in any field from a recognised university with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Besides, a few variants might ask for a basic aptitude test or consider the scores of exams like CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT to give a waiver.

You need to visit the official Online Manipal website and select your course, like BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA, or MA. After that, click on the "Apply Now" or "Enrol Now" button and create an account by entering your name, mobile number, and email ID.
Next, you enter the form with your personal details along with your 10th, 12th, and graduation details. And if you have work experience details. Then you upload clear scans of your mark sheets, ID proof, photo, and signature.
Now, you are making the application or booking amount payment online via UPI, net banking, debit card, or credit card. The university team goes through your documents and eligibility criteria. When you get selected, you receive an offer or confirmation email.

Manipal Open University holds all its exams online through secure remote proctoring. Thus, students are allowed to take tests from home on a laptop or desktop that meets the system requirements.
The term-end online exams are held according to the academic calendar. The official notification indicates that the fall 2024 session term-end exams will be held from 28 February 2025 to 9 March 2025. The practical exams like MCA being held separately on 22–23 March 2025. The same schedule is followed for the other semesters.
The university publishes the exam results on the learner portal once they have evaluated the internal and term-end assessments. The grades are computed by the system in a CGPA pattern, where internal assignments and quizzes have about 30% weight and the proctored end-term exams about 70%.
The students are required to obtain the minimum passing marks in the combined score. The results are usually available within a few weeks after the exam window (for example, term-end exam slot like 28 February–9 March in a previous cycle). They can view marks, SGPA/CGPA, and download digital grade cards by logging in with their registered email and password.
Manipal Online University provides placement help for its online students by offering a good substitute for standard on-campus placement programs. A specific placement office assists students in their job search by checking their skills and helping them see what they do well and where they can get better.
Students can use an online placement site to apply for jobs from more than 500 companies. This site makes applying for jobs easier and connects students to many chances. Students can also join online or in-person job fairs, like the “Launchpad” event in Bengaluru on June 13, 2025, which is just for online degree students.
