MGU Exams have no limit for attempting, as long as the student meets the eligibility criteria. There is no age limit for the CUET exams. The minimum education qualification must be passed or appearing for the class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board. The minimum marks should be as per the described category:

  • General Category: 50% in Class 12. 

  • SC/ST/OBC/PwD: 45% in Class 12

Is there an entrance exam for MG University?

The Mahatama Gandhi Central University uses the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for the undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Students who want to enroll in graduate programs must appear in the CUET-UG exam, while students who want to apply for a post-graduate program need to take the  CUET-PG. The Undergraduate programs are B. Tech, B.Com,  BA Journalism, and Mass Communication, and many others.

For all PG course applicants must appear in the CUET-PG programs. The CUET is a national-level entrance exam for central universities, conducted online with multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

Entrance exam for Mahatma Gandhi University is also conducted through the CAP (Centralised Allotment Process) for admission to UG, PG, BEd, and MEd Programmes. They are conducted in Colleges affiliated to the University. Instead of applying to each college individually, students can apply once through CAP and get allotted seats based on merit, reservation, and preferences.

MGU Exams has no specific limits for CUET exams. However, the applicant must fulfill the eligibility criteria to appear in the CUET exam. This exam is conducted once a year, so the candidate has the opportunity to prepare well and take it again in subsequent years. MGCU follows a semester system. The exams are conducted for “Even Semesters” — i.e., Semesters II, IV, VI, VIII for UG/PG programs. There are also back-paper / supplementary exams for students who could not pass in earlier attempts.
