JEE Main Registration 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is currently conducting the online registration process for this year's Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains Session 1 on its website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The closing date to register for this exam is November 27.

The dates for taking the JEE Main 2026 exam for session 1 have been announced to take place between 21st to 30th January. Those for session 2 have been changed to occur between 2nd to 9th April.

The online registration process for JEE Main 2026 will continue, and aspirants have to complete it. These steps by paying the required amount via digital payment options available on the website. The exam will comprise Paper 1 for BTech applicants, and there will be Paper 2A and 2B exams for those seeking to get into BArch and BPlanning programs.

The agency has just clarified that this is a “typographic error” on the part of the information bulletin regarding the on-screen standard calculator. The agency stated that there will be no calculators available through any method during this computer-based test and stated that an item on this generic test platform concerning calculators does not pertain to JEE Main 2026.

In other news, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked its schools to immediately share registration numbers issued to class 11 applicants applying to take the JEE Main Exam 2026. The Board said that these registration numbers are required while filling out the form, and are required to avoid conflicts with the dates of the CBSE class 12 board examinations to take place between February 17 and April 9.

This time, there are more examination cities, which have increased to 323 from 284 last year. The syllabus for the 2026 JEE Main Exam is available on the website. As per the released dates, results for session 1 can be accessed on February 12, while results for session 2 can be accessed on April 20.
