For taking online BCA admission you must match the qualification criteria and application process of the selected university or college.
Eligibility: The applicants should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. Mathematics could be a mandatory subject for some universities, while others might offer a bridge course if the student did not attend the subject. A minimum aggregate of 45-50% is usually the case.
Application process: The complete process is performed online and involves filling out an online application form, uploading the required documents, and paying the application fee.
Duration: The program duration is generally 3 years which is split into 6 semesters. Nevertheless, some universities will grant permission to complete the course within a maximum of 6 years.
A common online BCA syllabus is laid out in six semesters covering basic topics in programming, mathematics, and databases, whereas the examination pattern takes into account the different question types such as multiple-choice questions (MCQs), short and long-answer questions, and practicals in a 2-3 hour online exam format.
