Those seeking admission to the Group of Institutions (ASM), Pune must fulfil the basic and eligibility criteria that differ according to the course the student chooses. The criteria for the MBA and PGDM courses are that the student should hold a graduation degree.
In any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for the reserved category). And must have a valid score in examinations such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, and MH-CET.
The criteria for the MCA course are that the student should hold a graduate degree in computer applications, IT, and related subjects, with basic mathematics at the level of 12th standard and graduation. Those seeking admission into the BBA, BCA, B.Com, and B.Sc (Computer Science) programs must have passed the 12th standard examination from a recognised board.
The general course fee structure of ASM Pune differs according to the course that the candidate chooses. As per the MBA course fee structure, the entire fee for a two-year course is around INR 2.79 lakhs. Similarly, the PGDM course fee structures vary between INR 2.79 lakhs and INR 7 lakhs according to the course that the candidate chooses.
As per the MCA course fee structure, the fee remains around ?2 lakhs for the entire course. The fee that the institutes charge includes the course fee and the infrastructural charges. The institutes also award scholarships to deserving candidates according to the course that the candidate chooses. The candidate also has to pay a separate fee of INR 40,000 each year for the hostel.

The ASM Pune accepts national-level entrance exam scores such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, and MAH CET for the management and technical courses. The common entrance tests and the recent dates of the tests are CAT – November 30, 2025, MAT – September and December 2025, XAT – January 2026, CMAT.
It is expected to take place early in the year 2026, and the date of the ATMA exam is August 2025. The candidate needs to apply for these tests and check the schedule details through the common websites. This procedure of admission provides equal opportunity to the applicants.
The result of the national management entrance tests such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, and MAH CET is accepted by ASM Pune for admission into various programs that the institution offers. The final list of qualified students is generated by ASM Pune depending on the cumulative performance of the candidate.
The CAT exam for the year 2025 will be conducted on the 30th of November, and the result date will be in the first week of January, that is, January 2026. The date of the publication of the MAT result is within two weeks of the date of the exam, and the XAT result date is two weeks after the January date of the exam. The CMAT and ATMA result announcements take place shortly after the date of the exam.
The placement of ASM Pune is very good every year. The average package is around INR 4 to 5 lakh per year for MBA, and the highest goes up to INR 12 lakh per year. The highest package for PGDM goes up to INR 16 lakh per year. And the average package is around INR 7 to 8 lakh per year. Almost all PGDM students are placed.
And the placement ratio of MBA is around 98%. The list of companies visiting the college includes Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Citibank, Hitachi, Yes Bank, TCS, Infosys, IBM, and HDFC Bank. Many of the students also receive internships that sometimes convert into job offers. The college trains the students very well for the future so that they may achieve success.
