The Institute provides a two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management approved by AICTE. The program is divided into four semesters and includes a Choice-Based Credit System. It also offers a wide range of UG, PG, and doctoral courses.
At the UG level, it provides BBA (Hons), B.Com (Hons), BCA, B.Tech in CSE, B.Tech in IT, and B.Tech in AI & ML. At the PG level, the university offers MBA, Integrated MBA (5-Year), MCA, and M.Tech in IT. And for advanced studies, ASBM offers a PhD in Management and a PhD in Computer Science / IT.
The eligibility rules to join programs are simple enough to allow students to enrol there directly. The rules to join UG-degree programs, such as BBA and B.Com, involve completing 12th standard with 45% marks.
To study PG-degree programs like MBA, one should have a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks, along with qualifying marks, which include tests like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, and other university-specific tests like ASBMUEE. For the lateral entry into 5-year Integrated MBA programs, one needs to complete 12th standard studies with 45% marks.
And the PhD programs at this management school, one to complete a master’s degree with 55% marks. They also need to qualify for screening tests, including university-specific tests like ASBM-RAT and other national tests such as UGC-NET and GATE.
The fee structure at ASBM Institute of Management is approximately Rs 3.5 to 6.8 lakhs for its two-year PGDM program on a full-time basis. Additionally, there is a one-time fee payment of about Rs 50,000 for admission and other fees. It takes the total fees to approximately Rs 4 lakhs to Rs 7.25 lakhs.
The structure takes care of all expenses such as tuition fees, certifications, campus utilisation facilitation, internships, and industry training. Separate fees are to be paid for hostel and meal expenses.

The ASBM Institute of Management Pune requires that its students go through the management entrance examination as part of the admission process. This requires that the candidates apply online on the official website of the institution after the submission of the application form and the required documents.
This further involves GD/PI selection if the candidates are selected after the completion of the application procedures. The management entrance examinations accepted by the institution include CAT, XAT, CMAT, MGATATMA, MHT CET, and the GMAT examination.
These entrance examinations are conducted between November and December. It is included XAT examination of 2026 on the scheduled date of the examination on the 4th of January 2026.
The results of the examination are announced twice a year after the completion of every odd and even semester. The results of the odd semester are usually announced in January every year, whereas the results of the even semester are announced in June every year.
