The Department of Higher Education has started Yuva Sangam, a program that allows young people to visit states and Union Territories. This program is about Unity in Diversity. It pairs up regions so that people can learn from each other and have meaningful interactions. The people who take part in Yuva Sangam are not just visitors they are there to learn.
They will meet people who live in these places, go to schools and colleges and see how the government works. This way, they can understand how different parts of India work and how things change over time. Yuva Sangam is really about learning from each other and understanding how India works. The Department of Higher Education wants young people to see the diversity of India through Yuva Sangam.

Yuva Sangam is implemented through a coordinated effort of central ministries, state governments, and designated nodal Higher Education Institutions. This structured system is used to coordinate all logistical, educational, and cultural aspects involved in the programme.
In a larger sense, Yuva Sangam aligns with the principles of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 which focus the value of experiential and inter-cultural understanding as key educational components.
