UGC NET Application Form 2026 Deadline Closes Tonight: Apply by 11:50 PM

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the extended window to submit the UGC NET application form 2026 tonight, October 31, 2026. Candidates who have not yet finalized their profiles must complete their online submissions and successful fee transactions by the absolute cutoff of 11:50 PM.

Over 1.69 lakh applicants with pending fee payments risk disqualification if they fail to complete their registration tonight.NTA officials have confirmed that no further extensions will be granted for the UGC NET application form 2026 cycle. 

Applicants must track all updates, download their admit cards, and check their exam city slips exclusively through the official portals at NTA Website and UGC NET Portal.

• Correction Window Link: November 2 -November 4, 2026 (11:50 PM)

• Exam City Slip Release: November 23, 2026

• Admit Card Download: December 7, 2026

• Exam Schedule: December 14-18 and December 21, 2026

Following the closure of the online submission portal, the NTA will activate the form edit facility on November 2. This three-day correction window allows registered applicants to rectify minor errors in their submitted fields. 

The nationwide computer-based test (CBT) will take place across multiple shifts in mid-December to determine eligibility for Assistant Professor posts and Junior Research Fellowships (JRF).
