For UG engineering courses (B.Tech / BE) affiliated with ANU, the principal entrance exam is AP EAMCET / EAPCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy Common Entrance Test). Students wishing to join ANU’s engineering branches must appear in AP EAMCET and achieve a competitive rank. In prior years, ANU also referenced an internal exam (ANUEET) for certain admissions. Admission to the B.Arch. The program is granted based on the candidate’s results in NATA only.

The university’s website lists ANUEET-2024 as an entrance test for certain programs. However, current and recent data indicate that AP EAMCET is the more reliable and standard exam accepted for engineering admissions at ANU. For postgraduate programs, students clear a few qualifying exams, like AP PGECET, AU CET, ANU PGCET, and AP PGLCET exam, according to their course interest. The University also offers an M.Phil. at the doctoral level under three areas of discipline.

MPharma course: The GPAT 2026 application form for admission will be released in the first week of April 2026.
B.Tech course: The AP EAMCET 2025 counselling seat allocation result of the final phase was published for admission.
MBA/PGDM and MCA courses: The AP ICET Counselling 2025 Final Phase seat allocation results were announced for admission.
MBA/PGDM courses: The XAT registration procedure 2026 is open. The XAT 2026 exam will be held on January 4, 2026.
ME/Mtech and PhD courses: The GATE 2026 application process is currently open for admission. The exam will be held on 7, 8, 14, and 15 of the February month in 2026.

2. Register for Entrance Exams – You need to apply for AP EAMCET, AP PGECET, APICET, ANUPGCET, or NATA (as applicable per the interested course).
3. Apply at ANU – Visit ANU’s official website, fill out the admission form (online/offline), and pay the application fee.

4. Appear for Exam & Counselling – Secure a valid rank and participate in state counselling (where applicable).
5. Document Verification & Fee Payment – Candidates need to submit their academic certificates, ID proofs, category certificates, and exam scorecards.
6. Confirm Admission – Pay the admission fee to reserve your seat.
