Recent media reports indicate that the WBJEE 2025 results are delayed again due to the Calcutta High Court's review of a contempt petition filed by students. Students can check their scores and ranking on the official WBJEE website when the results are available.
The next hearing is set for today, August 7, 2025 at 10:30 AM. The Principal Secretary of Higher Education, West Bengal is expected to attend to explain the state's stance.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has scheduled the release of the WBJEE 2025 results for today, August 7, 2025.
But a last-minute legal challenge means the results will be delayed again.
When the results are out, you’ll find a link on wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. Students can see their WBJEE 2025 scores by entering their application number and birth date to log in.
The result will be a rank card that you can download. It shows your scores and ranks in the entrance test.
If candidates spot any error in the WBJEE results, they need to inform the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). This can be done by sending the email to info[at]wbjeeb.Within 24 hours of the result announcement.
To get your WBJEE 2025 rank card, do the following:
1. Go to wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee which is the official webpage.
2. Find and click the result link on the homepage.
3. Type in your application number and birth date.
4. Click ‘Sign In’.
5. Your result will then be shown.
6. Download the result as a PDF which is your WBJEE 2025 rank card.
7. Print a copy to keep for your records.
WBJEEB will soon release the 2025 counseling schedule. All candidates who have qualified are required to participate in this process. Here is a summary of the steps:
Complete the online registration and log in
Choose courses and colleges in order of preference
Pay the counseling fee
Await the seat allotment result which is based on rank, preferences and category.
The WBJEE 2025 cutoff list will show the opening and closing ranks needed for admissions. These ranks depend on things such as the exam's difficulty, the amount of test-takers, past trends and how many seats are open.
It is important to know that meeting the cutoff doesn't guarantee admission because other things are considered.
