The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) opens the online application window for the recruitment of 929 Assistant Statistical Officers (ASO) and Assistant Research Officers (ARO). To be considered for the 2026 recruitment, candidates must satisfy the following three-tier eligibility:
PET Score: Only candidates who appeared for the UPSSSC PET 2025 and hold a valid scorecard are eligible to apply.
Educational Qualification: A Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce, Economics, or Mathematical Statistics is mandatory.
Technical Diploma: An 'O' Level Diploma from DOEACC (NIELIT) or a one-year Diploma in Computer Science is mandatory.
Age Limit: Applicants must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of the notification date.
Shortlisted candidates based on their PET 2025 scores will be invited for a Main Written Examination. The exam will consist of 100 objective questions covering General Knowledge, Hindi, and subject-specific topics. Successful candidates will be placed in Pay Level-6, with a salary range of INR 35,400 to INR 1,12,400.
