The University of Kota (UOK) has released the detailed notification for the Rajasthan State Eligibility Test (SET) 2026 on June 12, 2026. This state-level examination determines the eligibility of aspiring candidates for the post of Assistant Professor and Lecturer in various universities and colleges across Rajasthan.

Applications must be submitted online either directly through the University of Kota's official website or via the SSO portal of Rajasthan. The registration process will remain open until July 15, 2026. The university has scheduled the written examination for September 6, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria and Exam Pattern

Candidates holding a Master’s degree with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for reserved categories) are eligible to apply. 

Students currently pursuing or awaiting results for their final year of post-graduation can also appear. Notably, there is no upper age restriction for this examination.

The test will feature objective-type multiple-choice questions spread across 35 optional subjects. Candidates will benefit from a lenient marking scheme, as the university has confirmed there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
