SSB Odisha Librarian Recruitment 2026:Notification for 225 Vacancies

The State Selection Board (SSB), Odisha, under the Department of Higher Education, releases the recruitment notification for 225 Librarian (Group B) positions. These positions are in Non-Government Aided Colleges across the state.

SSB Odisha Librarian Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria

The recruitment aims to fill 225 posts, with 67 vacancies reserved specifically for women.

• Educational Qualification: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science (B.Lib.I.Sc) or an equivalent degree from a recognised institution.

• Age Limit (as of 01.01.2026): Candidates must be between 21 and 42 years of age. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/SEBC/Women (5 years) and PwD (10 years) candidates.

The ability to read, write, and speak Odia is mandatory
