The Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) organises a massive hiring drive for 2026, inviting applications for 622 Junior Engineer (Electrical) positions. To be eligible for the PSPCL JE (Electrical) role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Education: A full-time regular Diploma in Electrical Engineering (min. 60% marks) or a B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (min. 50% marks).
Language: Knowledge of Punjabi is mandatory; candidates must have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as a subject.
Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 37 years old as of January 1, 2026, with standard age relaxations for SC, BC, and PWD categories.
PSPCL JE Recruitment 2026: Exam Pattern & Selection: Selection will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The 100-mark paper will focus heavily on Technical Knowledge (50 marks) and Punjabi Language (20 marks), alongside General Knowledge, Reasoning, and English. Candidates are cautioned that a negative marking of 0.25 applies to incorrect answers.
