The National Testing Agency has released the provisional answer sheet for the National Teachers’ Eligibility Test 2026. Applicants who appeared for the examination held on April 28 can now access the sheet and their individual response sheets via the portal exams.nta.nic.in/ntet/.
The NTA has activated the "Answer Key Challenge" link, allowing applicants to verify their reply against the official records. Those who find discrepancies in the provisional copy have a limited window to submit objections:
Deadline: Challenges must be submitted by May 3, 2026.
Fee: A non-refundable processing fee of INR 200 per question challenged is required.
Process: Candidates must log in using their Application Number and Date of Birth and then select the question ID they wish to contest, and upload supporting documentary evidence in PDF format.
The NTA stated that a panel of subject experts will verify challenges made by candidates. If a challenge is found to be correct, the answer sheet will be revised accordingly. The Final sheet and the results will be prepared based on these verified changes.
No individual notification will be sent to seekers regarding the acceptance or rejection of their specific challenge. For technical assistance or queries about the copy, they can contact the NTA Help Desk at 011-40759000 or email ntet@nta.ac.in.
