The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the NEET UG 2026 registration date to March 11, 2026. The extension is given due to the technical difficulties and other administrative hassles. Candidates who have not applied till now can submit their application by tomorrow, till 9:00 PM and complete fee payments by 11:50 PM. The official link to apply is neet.nta.nic.in.

Candidates can edit their category/sub-category, exam city preferences, medium of question paper, educational details, and uploaded signature, while Registered mobile number, email ID, nationality, permanent address, and academic details are non-editable fields.

The significant technical problems were students' Aadhar ID submission and Live photograph capturing.

NEET UG 2026: Form Correction Process

  • Visit the official portal and sign in using Application Number and Password.

  • Click on the link labelled Correction in Application Form on the candidate dashboard.

  • Modify allowed fields. Ensure all changes match your official documents.  

  • Pay any additional balance fee if the changes.  

  • Click submit and download the updated confirmation page and correction slip for your records.
