NTA Declares NEET UG Re-Exam Result 2026: Check Toppers List

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the highly anticipated NEET UG 2026 re-examination results today, July 16, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the medical entrance re-test can now download their updated scorecards directly from the official website at neet.nta.nic.in.

Out of the nearly 20 lakh students who registered this year, a total of 11.21 lakh candidates successfully qualified for medical admissions nationwide.

NEET UG Result 2026: Direct Link to Download Scorecard

Students can access their digital scorecards by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official NTA portal: neet.nta.nic.in

  2. Click on the live link titled "NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Scorecard Download".

  3. Input your Application Number, Date of Birth, and the security captcha.

  4. Click Submit to view, download, and print your rank card.

NEET UG 2026 Toppers and Key Highlights

The NTA has released the comprehensive merit list alongside the individual results.

  • The Top Scorers: Aryan Gupta from Punjab and Panshul Bansal from Haryana jointly clinched the All India Rank (AIR) 1, securing an impressive 715 out of 720 marks.

  • Gender Demographics: Female aspirants outshone male candidates this year, accounting for more than 58% of the total qualified pool.

  • Top Performing State: Uttar Pradesh led the national charts with over 1.7 lakh qualifying students, followed closely by Maharashtra and Rajasthan.

The NTA has revised the qualifying thresholds for MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH admissions. Below is the official category-wise cut-off range:

What’s Next? MCC Medical Counselling 2026

With the final re-exam scorecards published, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon open registration for the All India Quota (AIQ) 15% seats. Simultaneously, state counselling authorities will initiate registrations for the remaining 85% state quota seats. Candidates are advised to keep their rank cards, admit cards, and identity proofs ready for the physical verification rounds.
