National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) has revised the selection process for its ongoing recruitment drive targeting 59 Junior Engineer (Mining) posts. Candidates applying under Employment Notification No. 04/2026 will now face a multi-tier screening system, altering the previously anticipated single-stage evaluation format. The corporation will no longer rely solely on direct skill assessments. To filter candidates systematically, NMDC has introduced a written test phase. The updated recruitment process now consists of:
Computer-Based Test (CBT): Applicants must clear an initial written online exam.
Shortlisting Cutoff: Candidates will be filtered for the next stage in a strict 1:3 ratio based on CBT merit.
Supervisory Skill Test: Shortlisted applicants will undergo a mandatory Supervisory Skill Assessment.
Document Verification: Final selection is subject to strict certificate verification.
Job Profile: Junior Engineer (Mining) on a Contractual Basis (Grade CE-04).
Total Posts: 59 Vacancies.
Monthly Salary: INR 60,000 (Consolidated remuneration).
Eligibility Criteria: 3-year Diploma in Mining Engineering; maximum age limit of 50 years.
