NEET PG Counselling 2025 LIVE Updates: NRI document upload deadline nears; MCC opens reset link at mcc. nic.in

Those who applied under the NRI quota are required to submit documents by October 28. The final counselling date and timetable, along with the seat matrix, have not been announced on the official website, mcc.nic.in yet.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened the reset registration link of the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 counselling. One can register for NEET PG 2025 counselling for admission to 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats at mcc.nic.in.

MCC has also requested that candidates applying under the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) quota submit documents by October 28. In other recent news of NEET PG, the reset registration link will be deactivated on November 5.

The NRI quota detailed rules have also been released on the official website. MCC NEET PG counselling schedule and final seat matrix, however, are yet to be released on the official website, mcc.nic.in.

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for postgraduate (NEET PG 2025) took place approximately two months ago. And aspirants are still unaware of two important updates required for admission this year.

This year, more than 2 lakh aspirants appeared for the entrance examination, and a majority of them protested against the new two-shift exams introduced this year. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) held the exam on August 3 after the Supreme Court ordered it to return to the traditional single-shift schedule.

NEET PG 2025 results were announced on August 19, but the answer key was not released with the final questions. Instead, question IDs were made public, which makes it “impossible” for applicants to verify their responses. A number of candidates challenged this, bringing to the SC claims of mark discrepancies, the lack of accountability on the part of the NBEMS, and transparency in the NEET PG exam.
