MHT CET Round 4 Seat Allotment 2026 Released; 23,107 Vacant Engineering Seats Allocated

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has officially declared the MHT CET CAP Round 4 Provisional Seat Allotment results today, September 3, 2026. This final centralized admission round aimed to fill the remaining 23,107 vacant engineering seats across participating institutes in Maharashtra.

Candidates who registered for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) can now view their college allotment status online through the official portals at fe2026.mahacet.org and etcell.mahacet.org.

MHT CET Round 4 Seat Allotment 2026: Post-Allotment Guidelines Issued

As Round 4 marks the final centralized phase of MHT CET 2026 counseling, all seat allocations are subject to an Auto-Freeze policy. Candidates do not have the option for further betterment. To avoid cancellation of the assigned seat, students must strictly follow the official timeline:

  • Seat Acceptance & Fee Payment: Candidates must verify their documents online and pay the seat acceptance fee of ?1,000 via their login portal between September 4 and September 7, 2026.

  • Physical Reporting at Institutes: Students must visit their allotted colleges in person with original documents to confirm admission and pay institutional fees from September 4 to September 7, 2026.

  • Seat Cancellation Deadline: The final date to cancel an allotted seat and claim a refund is September 13, 2026.

  • Institute-Level Vacancy Rounds: Any engineering seats left vacant after September 7 will be filled directly by respective colleges through institute-level rounds from September 8 to September 15, 2026.

  • Cut-Off Date: The entire MHT CET 2026 engineering admission cycle will officially close on September 15, 2026.
