The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) NEET PG counselling for 2025 has started the choice filling process for the first round of All India Quota (AIQ) seats. About 128,000 candidates can fill their choices on the MCC website, mcc.nic.in.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started choice filling for the first round of NEET PG counselling 2025. This is for admission to 50% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The NEET PG counselling schedule for 2025 was released after a delay due to a pending Supreme Court case.
The NEET PG seat matrix for AIQ, central internal quota, deemed universities, and final DNB is now available on the official website, mcc.nic.in. Those who passed the NEET PG 2025 exam, which was given by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), can now register and make their selections.
About 128,000 people passed the exam, which had over 200,000 participants. After a three-month wait, the MCC released the NEET PG counselling dates on October 28.
Even though the Supreme Court was expected to resume the NEET PG hearing on exam transparency, there have been no updates so far. The Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association India (FORDA) has asked the health ministry to speed up the MCC NEET PG admission process, pointing out that there are not enough resident doctors in hospitals all over the country. The federation also requested that the ministry give clear updates on the Supreme Court proceedings that were planned for October 28.
In the meantime, a number of states have started NEET PG counselling for state quota seats. The state-by-state counselling schedule, along with information on bond policies, college and course fees, eligibility, and cut-off information, is provided below.
