K.R. Mangalam University (KRMU) has officially announced the Ph.D. admission process for the academic session 2026-2027. The university research program is open for Engineering, Management, Law and Education fields. The selection is based on the entrance exam (KRMU-PET) and then a Personal Interview by the faculty board of the university.
The last to apply for the same is March 12, 2026, while the exam is scheduled for March 14, 2026. Candidates can apply through the Online Applications link.
To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the following academic requirements.
A Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline from a UGC approved university.
The minimum aggregate marks should be 55%.
Candidates who have qualified for UGC-NET (including JRF), CSIR-UGC NET (including JRF), SLET, GATE, or hold an M.Phil. degree are typically exempted from the written entrance examination but must still participate in the interview process.
Fees Details: A non-refundable fee of INR 1,000 is required at the time of submission. Other details are:
Registration Fee: INR 25,000 payable upon admission, adjustable in the course’s total fee.
Annual Tuition Fee: Approximately INR 1,30,000 per year.
Total Programme Cost: For a standard 3-year duration, the total academic fee is estimated at INR 7,00,000, which includes tuition, caution deposits, and other administrative charges.
