Indian Army Invites Applications for TES-55 Recruitment 2025: Deadline today for 10+2 scheme applications; JEE Main-qualified candidates can apply.

Indian Army recruitment 2025: The Indian Army has announced that today is the final day to apply for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES-55) Recruitment 2025. The online application process, which began on October 14, 2025, will close today, November 13, 2025. Eligible candidates can complete their applications by visiting the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Indian Army TES-55 Recruitment 2025: Vacancy and Eligibility Details

The Indian Army is recruiting candidates for 90 vacancies under the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES-55), which will start in July 2026. This scheme gives a chance to Class 12 (PCM) students — those who studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics — and have appeared for the JEE Main 2025 exam to become Commissioned Officers after completing their training.

Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit

• Applicants must have completed Class 12 with at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

• They must have appeared in the JEE Main 2025 examination.

• The Applicants should be 16½ to 19½ years old at the time of application.

• Applicants must be born before January 2, 2007, or after January 1, 2010.

• Only unmarried male candidates can apply for this entry scheme.
  
  

Selection process and Training details

The selection is based on JEE Main scores and class 12th marks. The Candidates who are shortlisted will be invited for an SSB interview, followed by a medical examination for those who qualify. The cutoff marks for shortlisting are expected to be released in the third week of November, and the SSB interviews will likely be held between February and March 2026.

Those who are selected will go through four years of training — three years of academic studies and one year of military training. After successfully completing the training, cadets will earn an engineering degree and be commissioned as Lieutenants with a permanent commission in the Indian Army.

During training, cadets will receive a monthly stipend of ?56,100. After commissioning, officers will get a salary package (CTC) of around ?17–18 lakh per year, under the Level 10 pay scale.

Physical standards for selected candidates

Candidates who receive joining letters must meet the required physical fitness standards. This includes completing a 2.4 km run in 10 minutes and 30 seconds, along with 40 push-ups, 6 pull-ups, 30 sit-ups, two sets of 30 squats, two sets of 10 lunges, and demonstrating basic swimming skills.

Step 5: Take a printout and self-attest it for future use. This self-attest printout is needed for the SSB interview.
