The AICC Law Human Rights and RTI Department announced their new program INC Legal Fellowship 2026, to help young law graduates. The fellowship program will allow participants to work with Members of Parliament while they assist with the research and development of legislation and the legal process.
The fellowship duration is 3 months with a stipend. The law graduate can apply through the INC official portal.
Stipend: INR 50,000 per month.
Duration: June-August 2026 (approx. 3 months)
Eligible age is 24 to 30 years
Mode: Physical appearance.

Law graduates (3-year or 5-year LL.B.) from UGC-recognised universities.
Fellows conduct legislative research on Bills, draft parliamentary questions and debate briefs, and monitor legal developments impacting governance and human rights. The INC Legal Fellowship is administered by the AICC Law, Human Rights & RTI Department of the Indian National Congress. The vacancies are for 10 positions.
Legislative Research: Law graduate will conduct in-depth research on upcoming Bills, amendments, and committee reports.
Parliamentary Drafting: They will gain experience in drafting parliamentary questions, interventions, and debate briefs used by MPs during House sessions.
Policy Monitoring: They will monitor and analyse key legal and policy developments that impact governance, human rights, and the RTI framework.
Public Policy Engagement: Graduates will gain practical exposure to how the Indian Parliament functions and how the Opposition influences national policy.
Networking: Working within the AICC Law, Human Rights & RTI Department provides direct access to senior advocates, jurists, and policy experts
