Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Important Dates & Eligibility

• Key Dates: Applications open May 1, 2026, and close on May 8, 2026 (23:59 hrs). Apprenticeship must be completed by April 30, 2026.

• Qualifications: Diploma in Chemical Engineering (60% Gen/55% SC/ST) or B.Sc. in PCM (55% Gen/50% SC/ST).

• Experience: One-year apprenticeship required in the chemical/fertiliser/petroleum industries.

• Age Limits (as of 30.04.2026): 18–27 years for General, with relaxations up to 32 for SC/ST, 30 for OBC(NCL), and 3 years for Ex-Apprentices.

• Compensation: Monthly stipend of INR 31,000 during the initial year. Post-training, candidates are absorbed into Grade L0, featuring a pay scale of INR 34,000- INR 64,000.
