The Indian Air Force (IAF) released a notification for a recruitment Intake 02/2026 for athletes. This employment cycle is for outstanding unmarried Indian male sportsmen to join the force for a four-year tenure. The Air Force Sports Control Board (AFSCB) host this recruitment process.
The application form will be available from 23 March 2026 (10:00 AM), and the last date of submission is 29 March 2026 (05:00 PM). The recruitment trial timeline is 08 April 2026 to 10 April 2026. The entire intake process will take place at Air Force Station, New Delhi. The official link is the Agnipath Vayu official website.
The following sportspersons with specific specialities can apply for the scheme. 25% (Out of 100%) qualified candidates will be able to join the regular Indian Air Force.

Applicants must be unmarried Indian males born between 02 July 2005 and 02 January 2009.
For academic qualification, candidates must possess a 10+2 (with Physics, Maths, English) or a 3-year Engineering Diploma, or 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 50% overall/50% in English.
The scheme is open to Indian citizens who secured a top-5 finish in the Junior Nationals or represented a State/UT in the Senior Nationals/Inter-University competitions.
