The Department of Distance and Continuing Education (DDCE), School of Open Learning (SOL), University of Delhi, has opened its doors for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) admissions for the 2026-27 academic calendar.

Prof. Payal Mago, Director of the Campus of Open Learning (COL), confirmed that the admission portal became active at 11:00 PM on July 14, 2026. In a massive push toward offering highly competitive, modern degrees, DU SOL has formally introduced two brand-new professional programs this year: MBA (Healthcare Management) and BSc (Hons) Computer Science. 

Eligible candidates can directly apply online via the official DU SOL Admission Portal.

New Course Offerings & Smart Upgrades

The inclusion of a tech-heavy BSc in Computer Science and an industry-specific MBA in Healthcare responds directly to changing job market demands. Alongside these new programs, DU SOL continues to accept applications for its premier tracks, including the standard MBA, Master of Library Science (M.Lib.Sc), Bachelor of Library Science (B.Lib.Sc), and PGDADLM, which saw its application cycle begin earlier on June 17, 2026.

Furthermore, the university is keeping registration open for its highly sought-after one-year certificate and diploma programs in eight foreign languages, including German, French, Spanish, and Japanese.

To make the distance-learning onboarding process smoother, DU SOL has overhauled its technology stack. The login ecosystem now utilises a specialised WhatsApp API. This system delivers OTP verifications, application status warnings, and critical academic timetables straight to the applicant's registered phone number, bypassing standard email delays.

Critical Dates and Fee Structure

• Application Deadline: The last date to submit forms for the majority of these programs, including the new MBA tracks, is set for July 31, 2026.

• Fee Details: The annual tuition structure varies by course. For example, the newly introduced BSc (Hons) Computer Science sits at approximately INR 24,570, while traditional BA and B.Com programs remain highly accessible at roughly INR 12,070.
