Why Are Schools Closed in Delhi-NCR Today?

The school closure is a precautionary measure to minimise the exposure of students to the toxic air. The state government and the local government can prohibit in-person classes under GRAP-IV.

  • Noida

  • Gurugram

Government and private schools have been directed to follow the advisory till further orders.

What every parent and student needs to know

Parents are encouraged to:

Students should be ready to be taught online and with assignments at home while schools are closed.

Will schools be open tomorrow?

Officials have said the opening of schools is subject to daily assessments of the quality of the air. If air quality improves and is better than severe, physical classes can be conducted with restrictions. There will be more details released through official government channels.
