BHU BAMS Admission: NCISM Approval Clears Way for BAMS and PG Ayurveda Seats

The BHU BAMS Admission process has received a major boost after the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) approved Banaras Hindu University (BHU) to conduct admissions for BAMS and postgraduate Ayurveda courses.

The approval clears the way for 75 BAMS seats and 57 PG seats across 14 specialisations at the Faculty of Ayurveda, BHU. 

Eligible students are advised to keep a regular check on the official BHU Admission Portal for final choice-filling dates, merit parameters, and seat allotment schedules. 

BHU BAMS Admission: Ayush Counselling Round 2

BHU was not included in the first two medical lists issued by NCISM due to technical delays. As a result, candidates appearing in the first round of Ayush counselling could not select BHU as a preferred institution.

The Faculty of Ayurveda subsequently submitted the required compliance documents and affidavits. Following the review, NCISM restored BHU to the ongoing admission process.

BHU BAMS Admission Registration in Round 2

Candidates who missed the first counselling round or want to apply for BHU can select the university during Round 2 of Ayush counselling, subject to eligibility and counselling rules.
