Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a premier Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Defence, has officially released its latest employment notification (Advt No. BDL/C-HR (TA & CP)/2026-1).
The defence major is inviting eligible engineering graduates to a walk-in interview for 20 temporary contractual positions of Project Engineers. The vacancies are distributed across three primary engineering disciplines:
Project Engineer (Electronics): 10 Posts
Project Engineer (Mechanical): 05 Posts
Project Engineer (Computer Science): 05 Posts
Educational Qualification: A First-Class B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engineering) degree in the relevant discipline from a government-recognised or AICTE-approved college.
Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-qualification industrial experience in the relevant area.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories as per government norms).
Salary & Contract Terms
Monthly Stipend: Starts at INR 30,000 per month, scale increments up to INR 39,000 per month over the contract duration.
Additional Allowances: An annual allowance of INR 10,000 distributed for medical insurance, attire, and footwear.
Contract Duration: Initially for a period of 1 year, extendable up to a maximum of 4 years depending on the company's requirement and individual performance.
Selection Process
There is no written examination, and the following are the academic and experience criteria for selection.
Academic Merit: Weightage assigned to aggregate marks in the qualifying degree.
Experience Weightage: Points allocated for relevant post-qualification industrial experience.
Personal Interview: Conducted on-site during the walk-in drive.
Dates: 06-06-2026 & 07-06-2026
Timing: Reporting starts from 09:00 AM onwards. No candidate entry is permitted after 02:00 PM.
Venue: The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), Suranjan Das Road, Opposite Engine Division, Binna Mangala, New Tippasandra, Bengaluru - 560075.
Landmark: Near Vivekananda Metro Station.
