Dr Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University (DSMNRU) is a state university located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It was founded in 2008 by the government of Uttar Pradesh under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
It is India's first university that offers accessible, barrier-free higher education for both differently abled and regular students. It is recognised by the UGC and accredited by NAAC and AICTE. The university reserved 50% of its seats in all courses for students with disabilities.
