Chatrapati Sahuji Maharaj University (CSJMU) is formerly known as Knapur University. It is a state university located in Kalyanpur, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The university was established in 1966 to provide higher education. The university was named after Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj.
CSJMU currently has more than 700 affiliated colleges spread across seven districts. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in subjects like science, commerce, arts, law, management, and engineering.
It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and received NAAC A++ accreditation. It has a heritage of over five decades and continues to be one of Uttar Pradesh's top universities.

Undergraduate courses such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Tech, B.Ed, and LLB have entrance exams in June–July 2025, while first semester exams are held in December 2025, and second semester exams are in May 2025.
For post-graduation courses, exams are conducted in July–August 2025, while semester examinations are conducted in December 2025 for the first semester and May 2025 for the second semester. PhD candidates typically undergo written exams, interviews, and research proposal evaluations between August and September 2025.
The university announces the results of its undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses on a timely and transparent basis. The Undergraduate courses have semester examination results with the first semester result announced in January 2025, and the second semester result announced in June–July 2025.
The postgraduate courses' first-semester examination results are released in January 2025, and second-semester examination results are released in June–July 2025.
