Bareilly International University (BIU) started in 2016 under the Uttar Pradesh Government Act No. 26, following the UGC Act 1956. The university started its academic journey in the 2016-17 session with a goal to offer quality education and skill development to students. 

It holds all important accreditations, including UGC recognition and ISO 9001:2015 certification. BIU offers a wide range of courses in fields like Medical Sciences, Dental Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Management, and Applied Sciences. 

You will study on a modern, well-maintained 44.5-acre campus that includes smart classrooms, advanced labs, large libraries, comfortable hostels, sports facilities, cafeterias, an auditorium, and a teaching hospital where you get practical training.

BIU Eligibility Criteria 

Bareilly International University keeps its eligibility criteria clear and easy to understand so you can know exactly what you need to join a course. For undergraduate courses like BA, BBA, B.Com, or BCA, you must pass 10+2 from any recognised board with at least 45-50% marks. 

If you want to study professional medical courses like MBBS, BDS, BPT, or BAMS, you need to have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and clear the NEET exam. And for the postgraduate courses such as MA, M.Com, MCA, or MBA, you should hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 50% marks. 

BIU Fees Structure 

The university offers several courses with fees that try to be both affordable and of good value. Tuition changes with the course and level of study. The B.Sc. courses cost between INR 75,000 and INR 2,88,000. The MBBS program is around INR 53.18 lakhs, and the Physiotherapy program is about INR 2.4 lakhs. 

The Master's degree courses vary in price. It is based on the specialisation which starts around INR 30,000 to INR 69.27 lakhs.

BIU Admission Process

  • There’s a small application fee. For most courses, you need to pass an entrance exam, like CUET for management or arts courses, and NEET for medical courses like MBBS or BDS.

BIU Exam 2025

Bareilly International University has exams twice a year, at the close of each semester. The spring semester exams for 2025 are from mid-April to early June. The autumn semester exams are from November to mid-December. 

Exams have theory and practical parts, depending on the course. The university puts admit cards online about two weeks before exams begin. Candidates must bring their admit card and a valid ID to the exam.

Final grades combine theory scores, practical work, assignments, and internal grades. Bareilly International University posts the exam timetable online early so everyone has time to get ready. 

BIU Results 2025

Bareilly International University posts exam results online four to six weeks after the exams end. The spring 2025 semester results should be available from late June to early July, and the autumn semester results should be up around January. 

Students can view their scores by going to the official BIU site and entering their exam roll number or registration info. The detailed mark sheets break down scores for theory, practical work, and internal assessments.

Students who think their grades are wrong can ask for a revaluation or recheck during a specific period.

BIU Placement 

Bareilly International University has a placement program to assist students in finding jobs with leading firms. In 2025, placement outcomes were positive, with students being employed by HDFC, HCL, Apollo Healthcare, Max Healthcare, among others. 

The highest salary package offered was around INR 6 to INR 7 lakhs per year, and the average package was about INR 3 to INR 3.5 lakhs per year. The university's placement cell organises campus recruitment events, brings in recruiters, and gives pre-placement training that includes resume creation, interview prep, and soft skills courses.
