The NMIMS University Mumbai campus is a popular choice for many academic programs. Admission mainly depends on a series of entrance exams specific to the university. NMIMS NPAT (National Test for Programs After Twelfth) is the main entrance exam for various programs. For 2025, the NMIMS Entrance exam window usually opens from March 1 to May 31, 2025. This allows candidates to take the exam up to three times.
The first merit lists for several NPAT-based courses in Mumbai were announced on June 23, 2025. Document uploads and fee payments will continue until early July 2025.
To gain admission to the B.Tech, MBA Tech, and B.Pharm + MBA programs at the Mumbai campus, candidates must take the NMIMS-CET. This exam happens in two phases. Phase 1 runs from March 1 to March 30, 2025. Phase 2 takes place from March 31 to May 31, 2025.
For postgraduate management programs (MBA), especially the flagship MBA at the School of Business Management (SBM) Mumbai, admissions depend on the NMAT by GMAC score. After the NMAT, candidates who are shortlisted face a tough selection process that includes a Competency Assessment Test and a Personal Interview (PI).
For the 2025 NMIMS Entrance exam for MBA, the final admission round (Competency Assessment & AI Personal Interview) took place from January 30 to February 28, 2025. The final selection merit list was released around mid-March 2025.
