UP Police SI Result 2026 Declared: Check Merit List

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) announced the results for the Sub-Inspector (SI) Recruitment Exam 2026 on May 7. Out of the thousands who appeared for the written examination, a total of 12,333 candidates have successfully cleared the first hurdle for the 4,543 vacant positions. High Competition Reflected in Cut-Offs. The results arrived with a surge in competition. Preliminary reports indicate the General Category (Male) cut-off has soared past the 369-mark threshold (out of 400). Detailed category-wise cut-offs for OBC, SC, ST, and EWS, along with horizontal reservations for women and Ex-servicemen, are now accessible via the official merit list PDF.

• Select the marquee link: "Result of Online Written Examination for Sub-Inspector (Civil Police) 2026.

• Download the Result PDF and use the search function (Ctrl+F) to locate your Roll Number.

What’s Next for Qualified Candidates?

The board has confirmed that the Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST) phase will commence in the third week of May 2026. Candidates appearing in the merit list are advised to organise their original academic certificates, caste certificates, and domicile documents immediately.

Following the DV/PST, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), the final physical endurance round is expected to be conducted in June 2026.
