UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key Awaited: Expected to Be Released This Week

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the provisional answer key for the UGC NET June 2026 examination anytime this week. Candidates who appeared for the prestigious Eligibility Test can download the answer key, along with their recorded response sheets and question papers, directly from the official portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. 

The pan-India examination concluded on June 30, 2026, with a rescheduled shift completed on July 5, 2026. Over nine lakh candidates are currently awaiting the release of their estimated scores.

How to Download UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key

Once the NTA activates the download link, candidates can follow these steps:

• Visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

• Click on the "UGC NET June 2026 Provisional Answer Key Challenge" link.

• Log in using your application number, date of birth, and security PIN.

• Submit the details to view, download, and print your response sheet.

Provision for Challenging the Answer Key

Following standard practice, the NTA will open a 2- to 3-day objection window. Candidates who are unsatisfied with any marked answer can submit an online challenge.

A non-refundable processing fee of INR 200 per question will apply. Subject experts will review all submitted challenges before compiling and releasing the final UGC NET June 2026 results.
