UGC NET English Result 2026: Re-Exam Scorecard Released

The UGC NET English Result 2026 has been declared for candidates who appeared in the June 2026 re-examination. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results for English, Commerce and Sociology. Candidates can check their results and download their scorecards through the official UGC NET website. 

UGC NET English Result 2026: Key Details

The re-examination for these three subjects was conducted on September 9 and 10, 2026, at 454 centres across 272 cities. A total of 1,20,355 candidates appeared for the three papers. ,

• JRF qualified: 824 candidates

• Assistant Professor qualified: 11,610 candidates

• PhD Only qualified: 23,154 candidates

Follow these steps to download your UGC NET English scorecard:

1. Visit the official NTA website.

2. Open the UGC NET result or scorecard link.

3. Select the UGC-NET June 2026 Re-Exam Score Card link.

4. Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth/Password.

5. Submit the details to view your result.

6. Download and save the scorecard for future reference.

The re-examination was conducted after NTA identified errors in the question papers of English, Commerce and Sociology. Results for the other 84 subjects had been declared earlier.
