On February 4, the National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the UGC NET Result, Cut off & Final Answer Key for the December session. Candidates who have taken the test can download their scorecards and cut-off marks.

The December session exam took place from December 31 to January 7 in computer-based test mode. On January 14, the UGC NET Provisional Answer Key became available. Candidates needed login credentials such as their application number and date of birth to view their results.

How To Check UGC NET December Result 2025?

The steps to check the results of the December session are as follows:

  1. First, go to the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

  2. On the main page, find the UGC NET December Result link and click on it.

  3. You will see a login page.

  4. Input your application number, date of birth and the security code. 

  5. On the screen, you will see the UGC NET result.

  6. Take a printout of the result for future reference.

UGC NET Cut off for the December session varies based on the level of difficulty of the examination, the candidate's response, and the number of good attempts in paper 1 and paper 2 in all the shifts. The cut-off has been declared subject-wise and category-wise. It is the minimum marks a candidate has to obtain to clear the exam.
