The Tripura Public Service Commission releases the JE Recruitment 2026 notification, opening applications for Junior Engineer positions. This latest recruitment drive, under Advt. No. 03/2026 targets both Degree and Diploma holders looking for prestigious Tripura government jobs in the Rural Development Department. 

TPSC Jr. Engineer Vacancy 2026 Overview

The commission has announced a total of 8 vacancies. The recruitment details are as follows.

• Jr. Engineer Grade-I: 5 Posts (Group-B Gazetted) for candidates with a B.E./B.Tech.

• Jr. Engineer Grade-II : 3 Posts (Group-C Non-Gazetted) for Diploma holders.

Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

To be eligible for these Junior Engineer posts in Tripura, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Educational Qualification: A Degree in Electrical Engineering is required for Grade I, while a Diploma in the relevant field is mandatory for Grade II.

• Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years old (as of 21-03-2025). Standard age relaxations apply for SC/ST and PH candidates.

• Language & Residency: Proficiency in Bengali or Kokborok is highly desirable, and candidates must possess a Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate (PRTC).
