Education: A Bachelor's degree from any recognised university is mandatory. Preference may be given to specific degrees (like Commerce or Law) for specialized roles. Proficiency in the Tamil language is essential.
Age Limit (as of July 1, 2026): Minimum age is 21 years. The maximum age is 34 years for the General category and 39 years for the reserved category.
The selection process consists of a Preliminary Examination, a Main Written Examination, and an Oral Test (Interview). The Preliminary Exam, scheduled for September 6, will feature an objective-type format with 200 questions for 300 marks and will be held at designated centres, including Chennai.
