TGPSC AEE Recruitment 2026 for Environmental Engineer Vacancies

The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) notified three separate recruitment notifications to fill 290 permanent vacancies for Assistant Executive Engineers (AEE) and Assistant Environmental Engineers. Engineering graduates seeking government jobs in Telangana can submit their online applications starting in June 2026 via the official website, tgpsc.gov.in

The recruitment drive spans multiple state departments, offering a lucrative pay scale of INR 54,220 - INR 1,33,630 per month along with standard state government allowances.

TGPSC AEE Vacancy Details 2026

The 290 regular service vacancies are distributed across three distinct engineering streams:

  • (Civil) 222 posts in the Transport, Roads and Buildings (R&B) Department.

  • (Electrical): 49 posts in the Transport, Roads and Buildings (R&B) Department.

  • Assistant Engineer-Environmental: 19 posts in the Telangana Pollution Control Board.

  • TGPSC  Exam Date 2026: The written examinations are tentatively scheduled to be conducted in October 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit (As of July 1, 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years

  • Maximum Age: 44 years

  • Age Relaxation: Upper age limits are relaxable for reserved categories (5 years for SC/ST/BC/EWS and 10 years for PwD) as per Telangana state government rules.

2. Educational Qualification

  • Civil/Electrical: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil or Electrical Engineering from a university incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, or a State Act.

  • Assistant Engineer-Environmental: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Chemical/Environmental from a recognised university.

The selection will be based strictly on merit through a Written Examination (Objective Type), followed by document verification.
