The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) officially released the notification for RBI Office Attendant 2026 on January 15, 2026. This recruitment drive is for 572 vacancies across various regional offices. The official website to register and for other details is www.rbi.org.in.
The following are the critical dates of the recruitment process in 2026. Candidates are advised to adhere to the timelines indicated for each step to ensure that deadlines are not overlooked.
Important Dates:
Notification Release: January 15, 2026
Online Application Window: January 15, 2026, to February 4, 2026
Online Exam Dates: February 28, 2026, and March 1, 2026
Admit Card Release: Tentatively February 2026
Only candidates who meet the specified educational requirements, age, and language skills are allowed to apply.
Academic Qualification: Passed Class 10 (SSC/Matriculation) from a recognized board under the concerned state/UT recruiting office.
Qualification Limit: Only undergraduates are eligible.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years (born between January 2, 2001, and January 1, 2008)
Language Proficiency: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the local language of the state/UT applied for.
The selection process consists of two stages designed to assess candidates’ aptitude, knowledge, and language proficiency. There is a negative marking for each wrong answer.
The online objective test assesses candidates across four sections with equal weightage, conducted within a fixed time limit.

Find the recruitment link: Under the "Current Vacancies" section, click on the link for "Recruitment for the Post of Office Attendant".
Register: Click on "Click Here for New Registration" and provide your basic details, such as your name, contact number, and email ID. A provisional registration number and password will be generated.
Fill the application form: Log in with your new credentials and fill in all the required personal, educational, and other details.
Upload documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration as per the specifications mentioned in the official notification.
Review the form: Carefully review all the details you have entered to ensure accuracy before final submission.
Pay the fee: Pay the applicable application fee online using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
Submit and print: Finally, submit the form and print out the application form and e-receipt for future reference.
