The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) invites online applications for the recruitment of 170 Assistant District Attorneys (ADA). Released under Advertisement No. 09/2026, this recruitment drive aims to strengthen the legal framework within the Punjab Department of Home Affairs and Justice.

To qualify for these Group-B positions, candidates must meet rigorous professional standards:
Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (Professional) from a recognised university.
Mandatory Experience: Applicants must have at least two years of active practice at the Bar, duly supported by an enrolment certificate from the Bar Council.
Language Proficiency: A pass in Punjabi at the Matriculation level is a mandatory prerequisite for all candidates.
Selection will be based strictly on a written competitive examination. The paper will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with a significant 100-question focus on core legal subjects and 20 questions covering General Knowledge and Mental Ability.
Successful candidates will be appointed with an initial monthly salary of INR 35,400 (Level 6 of the 7th Pay Commission).
