NMAT 2026 Registration Deadline Extended to October 25: Apply Quickly

The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has officially announced an extension for the NMAT 2026 registration and exam slot scheduling window. Aspiring management students now have until October 25, 2026, to complete their applications and secure their preferred test slots for the upcoming exam cycle.

In tandem with this extension, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies has also pushed back its deadline. The NMIMS MBA application window will now close on the same date, October 25, 2026. Candidates are reminded that they must finish their official NMAT registration before submitting the separate NMIMS admission form.

• Reduced Retake Gap: The mandatory waiting period between consecutive NMAT exam attempts has officially been shortened from 15 days to just 7 days, offering candidates greater flexibility to improve their scores.

The actual NMAT 2026 exam window remains unchanged, running for nearly two months. Because test center slots, dates, and timings are allocated on a strict first-come, first-served basis, experts advise against waiting until the final deadline.
