NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 3 Registration: Get Updates Here

NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially opened the online registration window for NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 3 on September 22, 2026. 

Eligible medical aspirants seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc. Nursing programmes across India under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) at Central and Deemed Universities can now be applied for online. The official link to fill out application forms, submit course preferences, and pay the counselling fees is live at mcc.nic.in. 

According to the official notification, the last date to complete the NEET UG Round 3 registration and fee payment is September 27, 2026. The highly anticipated Round 3 seat allotment results will be officially released on September 30, 2026.

Candidates are strictly advised to submit a fresh choice-filling list, as previous choices from Rounds 1 and 2 will be treated as null and void.

Important Eligibility & Registration Rules for Round 3

The MCC has highlighted several critical instructions for candidates moving into the third phase of MBBS and BDS admissions:

• New Aspirants: Candidates who did not register or apply in Round 1 or Round 2 must register afresh and clear the requisite security deposit and registration fees.

• Previously Registered Candidates: Aspirants who registered in earlier rounds but failed to secure a seat do not need to pay or register again. However, completing the fresh choice filling is mandatory to be considered for allotment.

• Upgradation & Resignation: Students who elected for seat upgradation in Round 2 or resigned/did not join their assigned colleges must strictly participate according to the revised Round 3 protocols.

Following the completion of Round 3 reporting on October 9, the MCC will immediately transition into the Online Stray Vacancy Round from October 12 to October 17, 2026, to fill out any remaining residual seats.
