The NEET UG 2026 Registration Process, conducted by the NTA, is currently on. This is a national entrance exam for admissions into MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical courses for the 2026-27 session.  The registration window has been open since February 8, 2026, and the last date to apply is 8, March, 2026.

The NEET exam date is May 3, 2026 (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM), and result is expected to be declared by mid-June 2026. For the latest updates and for registration, the official portal neet.nta.nic.in is open. 

NEET UG 2026 Registration Process

To register for the exam, candidates need to register on the official website and then follow these steps:

  • Create an account on the NEET official website.

  • Complete the eKYC process through aadhar number and a live photograph submission.

  • Submit the academic information and preferred cities where you are comfortable to take exam.

  • Complete the payment process and download the fees submission message pdf or image.

NEET UG 2026 Application Fees

The payment process is fully digital. Category-wise fee details are as follows:

  • General: INR 1,700

  • General-EWS / OBC-NCL: INR 1,600

  • SC / ST / PwBD / Third Gender: INR 1,000

  • Centres Outside India: INR 9,500

The form correction window will open from March 10 to March 12, 2026, and the admit card will be released tentatively in late April 2026.
