Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is set to publish the admission announcement in KVs across India. The admission process for the academic year of 2026-27 will begin in the first week of March 2026. The official website to get more updates is kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in.
Admissions are open for Balvatika (Nursery, LKG, and UKG) and Grade 1. For Balvatika admission, the process is fully digital, while for other guardians and parents, they must visit the local school for registration. For the age eligibility criteria, children must meet the following age limit on 31 March 2026.
Class 1: 6 to 8 years.
Class 9: 13 to 15 years
Age Relaxation: A child may get the 2 years relaxation in the upper age limit if he or she is a differently-abled candidate. The permission must be granted by the school principal.

You need to visit the official KVS online admission portal. Register to generate a unique login code. Fill in the child's details, select up to three preferred KVs, and upload required documents (Birth Certificate and Photo).
For Class 2 to Class 12:
Contact the preferred Kendriya Vidyalaya directly to check for vacant seats. Collect and submit the offline application form at the school premises.
