Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2027: Applications Open – Apply Online Now

The application for Agniveer SSR, Agniveer MR & SSS(medical)Sailor posts for the 2027 recruitment is open from the Indian Navy on its official website. The application period is from March 14, 2026, to April 06, 2026. The application window for changes will be open for two days, on April 10 and April 11, 2026.

The test is tentatively scheduled for May 2026, and the results will be available by June 2026.

Educational Qualifications:

Agniveer SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit) requires a minimum 12th grade pass with math and physics, or a 3-year diploma pass in a related engineering discipline with 50%.

The Agniveer MR (Matriculate) demands a minimum of 50% in the 10th grade. For Agniveer SSR (Medical), candidates must have completed at least 12th grade with a 50% in biology, chemistry, and physics. 

Since eligibility for various positions varies, candidates should refer to the official notification regarding age. Candidates for the various Agniveer positions are chosen through a written exam and a physical test that includes running, squatting, push-ups, and sit-ups.

Selection Procedure

The selection procedure shall comprise:

• Written examination

• Physical fitness test(PFT)

• Medical examination

Those who pass all the previous selection processes will be hired under the Agnipath Scheme as Agniveers in the Indian Navy for a four-year term.
