The Indian Government Mint (IGM), under the Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL), announced the Computer-Based Test (CBT) date for its 2026 recruitment drive. According to the official notification, the CBT for the 94 vacant positions, including Supervisor, Junior Office Assistant (JOA), and Junior Technician, will be conducted nationwide on July 1, 2026.
The official portal to apply is the SPMCIL CBT Exam Registration Step Portal.
Notification Release: 28th March 2026
Online Application Window: 28th March 2026 to 27th April 2026
CBT Exam Date: 1st July 2026
Admit Card Availability: Expected to be released 7-10 days before the examination.
Candidates who completed the online registration process between March 28 and April 27, 2026, will soon be able to access their hall tickets. The IGM administration is expected to release the CBT admit cards online 7 to 10 days before the examination date.
Exam Pattern and Selection Process
The selection pipeline features a Computer-Based Test followed by post-specific skill, trade, or typing tests, and final document verification. Notably, the online examination will feature no negative marking, providing a crucial structural advantage to applicants.
Candidates are advised to download their admit cards exclusively from the official portal at spmcil.com as soon as the download link goes live.
